Meet Your Inspector

Paul Ryan

iNK Inspections inspector Paul Ryan served in the Navy with NMCB 133 as a structural welder. After the Navy he started building foundations in 1993 as a form setter in Keystone / Breckenridge Colorado and then built trusses after the winter freeze would set in. Later he moved to Seattle Wa. and started doing underground utilities, that led into short plats and running heavy equipment. Later a custom home builder out of Mukilteo Wa. hired him to be their in-house operator, making that home builder a full turn-key company. While employed with the custom builder, he would move into framing as the home phases progressed. Quickly finding apprenticeship with a Danish Master Carpenter, as he adapted quickly to following directions and had an innate ability for problem solving and good spatial reasoning. Under the Master Carpenter he was tasked with finish work and high-end installs. Due to his high attention to detail and good communication skills, he became the point of contact on-site for building inspectors and client change orders. Later Him and the Master Carpenter left to start their own company. In early 2000 at the downturn in construction, Paul went back to school. In college his studies were in construction and design, including IRC code classes. Paul left school and started a small construction company in Seattle with his wife who previously finished up school as an architect. Paul then in his early 40s looked for a transition out of heavy site work and into the residential inspection business. in early 2014 iNK Home Inspections L.L.C. was formed. With his background he has far exceeded other members in his field. He is said by his client to be highly detailed and through, putting out a highly comprehensive deliverable. Paul is proud to join the top builders in the industry and help to provide contractors and homeowners with best practices and efficiency, saving time and money with top solutioning and prescriptive accuracy.

Trained & Experienced

Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org)—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.

All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our inspectors are graduates of the InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college that offers the nationally-accredited Home Inspector Certificate Program.

Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
